Young Leaders for development
Reuben is the founder of the Christian-Muslim Solidarity Network, an organisation that advocates for mutual respect and understanding between various faiths, cultures and communities through concrete social actions and online campaigns. Through his organisation he has set up Peace Education initiative, which builds on the idea that children are the cornerstone to build a peaceful and respectful society. The project is consists of peace education classes for young children from marginalized Muslim communities in Manila. His project has reached more than 200 children aged 3-13 so far. Reuben’s involvement is complemented by his studies on Conflict Transformation and his professional experience in the Office of the Presidential Adviser for the Peace Process for the President of the Philippines. He is a graduate of Public Administration and presently taking his Master in International Studies in the University of the Philippines, Diliman.
