- The specific e-Service “Young Leaders for Development blog”
This e-Service is made available on this web page in order to present the views, opinions, positions and strategies of the participants to the Young Leaders Programme of the European Development Days. While navigating the website, including commenting the articles or videos, your personal data will be collected and further processed for the purposes detailed hereafter under point 2. This e-Service is under the responsibility of PHRENOS, acting as the Controller.
As this e-Service collects and further processes personal data, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and Directive (EU) 2016/680 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by competent authorities for the purposes of the prevention, investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offences or the execution of criminal penalties, and on the free movement of such data are applicable.

The personal data collected and further processed are the following mandatory fields: Name and Email Address.
The purpose of the processing of personal data for the e-Service is: Management of the interaction between blog authors and those who comment articles, videos and posts on the blog.
We collect this information through our « Reply » box at the end of each blog post, article and video.
- Who has access to your information and to whom is it disclosed?
Your information will be accessed by those managing the Young Leaders for Development blog. It shall not be disclosed to any other party.
No personal data is transmitted to third parties, which are outside the recipients and the legal framework mentioned.
- How do we protect and safeguard your information?
The collected personal data and all information related to the Young Leaders for Development blog is stored on the servers of PHRENOS, acting as processor which will house and operate the site, which guarantees a complete confidentiality of the collected data as required by the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Directive (EU) 2016/680.
- How long do we keep your data?
Your personal data is kept as long as the website is functioning. If you do not agree that your data is kept for the entire life of the blog, you can contact the processor (point 7 below) explicitly specifying your request.
