Knights & Knightesses of Camelot – Levelling the Playing Field for Interaction on #SDGs
Nostalgia sets in when reflecting back to the Joint Research Centre (JRC) experience linked to the European Development Days Young Leader Programme.
Rose is a youth leader whose passion for youth entrepreneurship and empowerment has created opportunities for hundreds of youth in Malawi and beyond. She represents the potential of young African entrepreneurs, out to improve their societies. She is the Star Prize Winner for Future African Leaders Awards 2015, for her involvement in economic empowerment for women and youth. Her project, LUSELI, engages with the private sector to invest pitch ideas from young entrepreneurs in key sectors such as agriculture, to give a chance to marginalised women and youth to start their own businesses. She has conducted trainings on managing sustainable business models and entrepreneurship skills. Rose has also represented Save The Children in various occasions including EXPO 2015 in Milan, and has excellent public speaking skills.
